Condé Nast Traveler has announced its definitive guide to the best new hotels and resorts in the world: the 2015 Hot List. Five English and an Irish hotel feature, ensuring a strong presence from these islands.
A select 60 properties made the 2015 Hot List, after being vetted by editors and contributors who visited hundreds of recently opened properties around the world, from West Africa to Miami.
This year, an invisible and seemingly effortless attention to detail was appreciated more than over-the-top gestures. Condé Nast Traveler Editor-in-Chief Pilar Guzmán says, “The standout properties were those that understood the intuitive needs of the modern traveler. The sweet spot for a Hot List hotel is a combination of old-school extravagance and service with just the right measure of modernity.”
The result is a list that takes you around the world – from London to French Polynesia, Milan to Uruguay – and speaks to the passions of the modern traveler.
