The National Trust is seeking an experienced operator for the Bankes Arms, an extremely prominent and picturesque 16th century public house with letting bedrooms in the historical centre of Corfe Castle. The Bankes Arms has operated for approximately 350 years and within that period there have been just 15 licensees.
The external trade gardens overlook the thousand year old Corfe Castle, one of Britain’s most iconic and evocative survivors of the English Civil War, and the Swanage Steam Railway and railway station border the site. The National Trust is offering a new free of tie lease on the property through leisure property specialist Fleurets at a guide rent of £45,000 per annum.
