Award-winning hospitality company Green & Fortune is opening a brand new space, the Gallery Room, at the beginning of May. This luxurious room will have a capacity to seat 40 guests for dinner and up to 60 for theatre style presentations within a sleek, modern surrounding, adding further flexibility to the Kings Place Events portfolio.
Green & Fortune
Founded in 2008 and based in Kings Cross arts hub, Kings Place, Green & Fortune owns and runs Kings Place Events, Rotunda Bar, Restaurant and Private Dining as well as the Green & Fortune Café, and now employs over 100 people. The new room marks the largest single investment Green & Fortune has made since launching in 2008 and further highlights the growth the company has seen. The opening of the Gallery Room comes off the back of a period of tremendous growth for Green & Fortune, which has included being recognised with five major industry awards in the last four years.
The Gallery Room
The new space is situated on the mezzanine level of the Kings Cross arts venue and will boast a lavish marble flooring, 75” plasma screen, hi-spec IT capabilities, inbuilt cloakroom as well as dramatic, modern lighting features allowing for colour washes, perfect for corporate branding.
The menus have been designed by Kings Place Events’ Will Hemming, Ian Green and Quentin Fitch, who won the prestigious ‘Event Caterer of the Year’ at the 2014 Food Service Cateys. Executive catering options will include premium menus written exclusively for the Gallery Room and will be centered around the beef and lamb that Kings Place Events source from their own Northumberland farm.
Speaking about the new room, John Nugent, CEO of Green & Fortune said: “We’re very excited to be launching such an elegant and intimate new space that will be a great addition to such a fantastic building. This new lease and investment extends the hospitality options that we will offer at Kings Place. This comes on the back of another very successful year of growth across the whole business. It is a further endorsement of the wider Kings Cross area as a business and leisure district.”
