BII Scotland has announced that its annual awards ceremony, which celebrates and supports the licensed trade in Scotland, will take place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on Sunday 17 May. The event, which is not-for-profit and organised by volunteers from the trade, is expected to attract over 300 attendees from the great and good of the Scottish licensed trade.
The Awards categories
This year, there will be nine awards available:
- Best Business Initiative – TLT LLP Solicitors
- Bar Operator of the Year – Deuchars IPA
- Whisky Bar of the Year – Whisky Ambassador
- Late Night Operator of the Year- Securigroup (SGL)
- Social Responsibility Award – Academy of Food and Wine Service (AFWS)
- Bar Personality of the Year – Belhaven
- Food Operator of the Year – JB Foods
- Scottish Brewery of the Year – SIBA
- Scottish Training Award – Blueprint
Nominations for the awards should be emailed to awards@biiscotland.org and nominees will be contacted immediately with an entry pack. The last date for nominations will be 31 March 2015.
