Hotel Marketing Agency take customer service to the next level

By James Russell: Hotel Marketing Agency take customer service to the next level

February 19, 2015

Marketing agency takes customer understanding to a whole new level with Longleat Hotels.

The CEO of leading Bristol based Marketing & PR agency, Wired Media, is taking the notion of customer understanding to a whole new level, stepping out of the office and into the hotel industry on Monday 23rd and Wednesday 25th February to gain an insider’s viewpoint.

CEO Tom Beasley, who has been leading the Wired Media team for 15 years, is taking the unusual step of leaving the office to work shadow long term client and Group General Manager of Longleat Hotels, Jason Thorley, in a bid to further develop the agencies expertise and understanding of the hospitality industry.

Established in 2000, Wired Media have become well known as the specialist Marketing & PR agency for the hospitality industry. Over the years the company has worked with numerous hotels, restaurants and guesthouses, demonstrating repeated successes in terms of driving bookings and increasing revenue in the businesses they work with.

Jason Thorley is the general manager of Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa, a luxury country house hotel in the heart of Wiltshire, and is currently overseeing The Bath Arms and Homewood Park Hotel & Spa too, all part of the Longleat Hotels group. Longleat Hotels have been working with Wired Media for over three years, involving them in a variety of activities in order to maximise their digital presence and returns

Jason commented:

“We’ve worked with Wired Media for a long time now and they’ve always exceeded our expectations with the results they produce. I love the fact Tom is willing to spend time shadowing me, it just goes to show that they are always looking for new and different ways to learn more about their clients. ”

Tom hopes the experience of shadowing Jason in his business will help his company to gain additional insight into the day to day pressures on a general manager. By seeing first-hand how hotels are run from the inside, it is hoped Wired Media will be better placed to offer tailored services to the industry that truly meet their marketing and PR needs.

Talking about the experience of spending time in hotels, Tom said:

“I can’t wait! I get on very well with our clients so it’ll be a good day out as well as a valuable learning experience. We like to get to know our clients inside out, it’s the only way to provide a great service which meets their needs. I also like staying in hotels so it will be a great opportunity to see it from the other side.”

Wired Media picked Longleat Hotels, partly due to the longevity of their relationship, but also due to the depth of involvement they have had with the business. Over the years Wired Media have helped to promote garden parties and gym launches and have publicised weddings throughout the group as well as helping launch the Bath Arms.

Wired Media work with numerous other hotel and hospitality businesses, both locally and nationally. Past and current clients include specialist travel company, Red Savannah, Chelsea based hotel, The Draycott, and luxury Cotswolds hotel, Ellenborough Park.
