By James Russell: The Highlander Hotel comes to market at £1.95m

February 8, 2015

International real estate advisor Savills, on behalf of a private individual, has brought to market The Highlander Hotel in Newtonmore, Inverness-shire at a guide price of £1.95 million.

The 85-bedroom hotel, which is set in the heart of Cairngorms National Park, includes a private restaurant, lounge and three conference rooms.  It holds a Civil Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships License and can cater for up to 150 guests.

The property sits on a 2 acre (0.8 hectare) site and is surrounded by landscaped gardens and woodland.  Located near the A9 and A6, it benefits from close proximity to a number of leisure attractions including Newtonmore Golf Course, Highland Wildlife Park and the Malt Whiskey Trail.

Tom Cunningham, associate director at Savills, comments: “This is an excellent opportunity to invest in a hotel in the beautiful Scottish Highlands which offers multiple revenue streams, giving it the potential for a strong long term income.”
