Five Guys, the leading American burger brand, has opened its second restaurant in Scotland at Silverburn, Hammerson’s flagship out-of-town shopping centre in Glasgow. The 3,637 sq ft restaurant is located in Silverburn’s new leisure extension, adjacent to handmade burger co. and TGI Friday’s.
Serving its famous high quality, fresh burgers and fries, Five Guys has gained a cult following in the UK since its launch last year – the opening at Silverburn takes their total number of sites in the UK to 26.
Commenting on the opening of Five Guys, Sarah Fox, Head of Restaurants and Leisure at Hammerson, said: “The opening of Five Guys at Silverburn is another exciting step for our leisure extension which is now nearing completion. Our visitors can choose from a wide variety of attractive dining brands on offer and this latest opening, reaffirms our position as the leading retail and leisure destination in the Glasgow region.”
