Chepstow Grade II listed traditional inn on the market

By James Russell: Chepstow Grade II listed traditional inn on the market

February 20, 2015

Freehold, high yielding public house investment in central Chepstow is available through leisure property specialist Fleurets.  The George, let with over 18 years unexpired without a break clause to UK Propco Limited who operate 18 former Bramwell pubs located nationally, is for sale at an asking price of £1m reflecting an attractive initial yield of 11.3%.

“Let with a long unexpired lease, without break, for over 18 years to a small but expanding multiple pub operator, the extensive traditional coaching inn with 11 letting rooms, is very attractive to an investor purchaser,” emphasises Graeme Bunn, Director and Head of Professional Services at Fleurets.

“The George is situated in Chepstow town centre,” comments Kevin Conibear of Fleurets Bristol. “The town is rich in history and benefits from significant visitors to the Wye Valley, Chepstow Castle and Chepstow racecourse.”
