A versatile and exciting new venue has opened in the heart of buzzing Camden Market. Located above the Stables, with an impressive ramped entrance, Camden Foundry has floor to ceiling windows boasting stunning views over the cobbled alleyways of the Market and its charismatic Victorian buildings. The ‘Stables’ was formerly the historic Pickfords stables and Grade II listedhorse hospital which served the horses pulling Pickford’s distribution vans and barges along the canal.
Now a four storey building, the rear of the Stables are being transformed in order to establish a creative hub – an inspiring environment where artistic businesses will work alongside like-minded contemporaries, neighboured by Camden market’s very own radio station. At the heart of the building is Camden Foundry which, by day, is an inviting and social hang out and meeting place for shoppers, workers and those living in and around Camden.
By night Camden Foundry is transformed into a spectacular venue for monthly live music and art performances, with a schedule curated by the on-site team. And now Camden Foundry is being offered for corporate, private and community events.
Totally refurbished with a modern Scandinavian décor, the main space with its natural wood floors, copper clad feature bar and high level stretch canvas ceiling provides a spacious and fresh venue. Utilising the art spaces adjoining the main bar area, Camden Foundry can accommodate up to 200 guests for dinner, 580 guests for a reception or party with food stations. It provides a contemporary location for photo shoots, product launches and press events. The Gallery is an inspiring space for daytime dining, events or meetings and evening gatherings.
A comprehensive food and drink offer is provided by Creativevents, with all menus designed to cater to each client’s brief and to reflect the modern, current nature of Camden Foundry and its location.
Available from 12pm until midnight, the Stables Market and Camden Foundry are easily accessible by public transport, with Camden Town and Chalk Farm underground stations only a 5 minute walk to the Stables Yard entrance on Chalk Farm Road.
