This year’s New Year honours for hospitality, catering and also tourism are led by Simon Vincent, of Hilton Hotels, and Wendy Bartlett of foodservice caterer Bartlett Mitchell.
Simon Vincent is the President EMEA of Hilton Worldwide as well as co-chair of the (new) UK Tourism Council. He receives an OBE for services to the hospitality industry.
Wendy Bartlett (pictured above) is Chief Executive of Bartlett Mitchell, which she co-founded in 2000 and has overseen growth to £30 million turnover and 700 employees. She receives an MBE.
