Think Local
Simon Rogan is set to bring the show to a fascinating close, with a not-to-be missed interview at 1pm on the 21st January. The mercurial British chef will discuss his unique culinary philosophy which relies heavily upon the influence of nature, foraging and highly seasonal and local ingredients.
Hampshire’s Laverstoke Park Farm Taste Experience will also give visitors the opportunity to sample local mozzarella made from fresh Buffalo milk, Buffalo fillet steaks, award-winning lamb, black pudding and Buffalo Gouda.
Add Fewell to Your Social Media at the HOSPACE Hub
“Give something to your community and then you earn the right to ask them for a sale.” This from Digital Blonde MD, Karen Fewell, who will be imparting even more savvy social media tips at 3.30pm on 20th January at the HOSPACE Hub.
The Hub will host a dedicated seminar programme discussing and debating the very latest trends and insight throughout the three-day extravaganza.
Let a Show Maker Show You the Way
The show’s team of specially trained ambassadors, the Show Makers – recruited from Birmingham Catering College and trained by Lisa Campagnola, the lady behind the training programme for the London Games Makers – will be on hand offering guidance and advice on show attractions.
Cut the Cost of Your Journey
The show has partnered with Virgin Trains West Coast Main Line and NEC Birmingham to arrange a travel bonus for exhibitors and visitors – cutting the cost of rail tickets by 25%. Book now.
Catch the Top Ten
The Star Product Awards will see the ten most groundbreaking new products crowned in a glittering ceremony on day one at 4pm on the Business Briefing Stage. On display throughout the three days, this will be a scintillating first-look at the products that will help set the British hospitality agenda in 2015.
Take Part in a Demonstration
The Staff Canteen Live is set to make its debut at the event adding stimulating kitchen demonstrations and practical advice from big name chefs including Michelin-star chef, Adam Stokes, Chef Patron of Midsummer House, Daniel Clifford, Executive Chef, Gary Jones and Head Pastry Chef, Benoit Blin, both from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
Enjoy a Working Lunch
Visitors can now book to enjoy lunch at fine dining restaurant, La Parade des Chefs. Just £32 (which includes a donation of £2 to Just a Drop, an international water aid charity) will enable them to be a key part of the 100-cover team challenge. The world’s premier culinary competition, Salon Culinaire, will yet again provide a show-stopping spectacle for highly skilled chefs across a number of sectors. The 2015 event has a host of upgrades and will comprise of three key elements: the exquisite Salon Display, competition classes of Live Theatre and fine dining experience, La Parade des Chefs.
Hail CESA!
The CESA (Catering Equipment Suppliers Association) Innovation Zone will be the only place operators need visit in 2015 to view the most relevant and cutting-edge products the industry has on offer.

Consult a Designer
Throughout the show, one of the four mentoring booths will be dedicated to the business of better design. Visitors can discuss projects in confidence with experts including James Dilley, head of the hotel, hospitality and interior design teams at British architecture and interiors practice Jestico + Whiles, on how to create striking interiors that work harder for operators.
