The magazine “Le Chef” – already known for its annual prize “Chef de l’Année” (where French chefs recognise the chef who best represents the profession) – has announced the results of its survey to identify the 100 chefs in the world and their ‘must visit’ restaurants.
Le Chef has contacted the 512 Michelin two-starred and three-starred chefs to ask them who are the 5 chefs who best represent the values of the profession, and their restaurants which are a ‘must visit’ at least once in a life.
Le Chef suggests that this survey is the first survey which gives a realistic picture of the best restaurants in the world, and finally delivers a real answer to the “best” ranking which international journalists seek to give on international cooking.
