The property is available on partially tied lease (free of tie for wines and spirits) from Greene King with last year’s turnover at £1,048,988 net of VAT to December 2013. The trade’s split is approximately 60/40 wet/dry. Current year to date figures are currently indicating a higher figure for this year’s turnover.
The Elm Tree has been nurtured by Tim Buckle and Alan Douglas over the last six years.
Tim Buckle says, “Trade has increased year on year and we feel there is a lot more to develop here. Despite our proximity to the New Forest, we attract mainly local trade and the business benefits from a consistent turnover all year round. We are sad to be leaving as there is more we could do here but we are looking to move abroad and start a new venture.”
