Independent catering company, Wilson Vale, has retained a contract with NHBC (National House Building Council) at its UK corporate headquarters in Milton Keynes, following a thorough re-tendering process which saw the independent caterer up against several major industry competitors.
Wilson Vale first gained the staff catering contract in 2004 when the catering operation was originally across two sites. In 2010, the NHBC moved into purpose-built offices in Milton Keynes, where a team of seven Wilson Vale staff has managed catering services for 500 NHBC staff on site since the move. This latest contract is worth £300K in annual turnover.
Andrew Wilson, co-founder and managing director of Ashby-based Wilson Vale, said: “Ten years on, we are absolutely thrilled with the evolution of the catering service and we continue to work closely with our client to develop it further to meet NHBC’s expectations and requirements.

Wilson Vale now has 80 contracts, mainly within the business & industry, independent schools and venue sectors. Current annual turnover is £19.5 million and the company employs 550 staff.
