Vapiano has won the category “Best Food & Beverage Retail Concept” at the 19th MAPIC Awards in Cannes. The lifestyle brand won over the jury with Italian zest and a cosmopolitan ambience.
“Chi va piano, va sano e va lontano”: “Take things easy, and you’ll live healthier and longer”, so goes the Italian saying. This attitude to life is reflected in all facets of the Vapiano concept: in the fresh pasta and pizza, in the Vapianisti, in the locations, and in the design. In November the international MAPIC jury singled out the German company for the best Food & Beverage retail concept.
“This Mapic Award 2014 is a particular honour for us. We are delighted that the top‐ranking jury selected Vapiano from among the European entrants who included landlords, property developers, real estate agents and other market participants. We are sure that this recognition is due to the new design that we have recently implemented as well as our strong growth in recent years, especially in the major European core markets,” says Mario C. The MAPIC Awards 2014 were presented in eight categories for the best concepts and project in the retail property sector. The awards ceremony took place on 20 November as part of MAPIC, the international retail property fair in Cannes.
