Simon Dodd is to join Fuller’s, starting on 5 January 2015. He has extensive experience in senior leadership roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Orchid Group where he was a founding director and lead an exceptional senior team of people working across Operations, R & D, Digital Strategy, Purchasing and Logistics, Marketing, Food Development, HR and Training.
He began his career on the graduate scheme at Scottish and Newcastle Retail in 1997, before progressing into marketing roles including at Ladbrokes, Bass Leisure Retail, Ember inns, Yates’s, and Ha Ha Bar & Canteen.
As well as a strategic perspective, Simon brings a people-centred approach, which was a key area of focus at Orchid where his team collected HR awards from Investors in People and The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For.
