Brand review
In addition to a strong financial performance, the company has undertaken a brand review to consolidate its divisions under Levy Restaurants UK’s umbrella. A new brand architecture has subsequently enabled the market to understand the company’s values, goals and all-encompassing approach to catering and hospitality related services.
‘Our purpose is to create legendary experiences for all our customers through powerful partnerships with our clients,’ said Colin Bailey, the Managing Director for Levy Restaurants UK. ‘We have taken our focus on the guest, a restaurateur’s mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, and have added local expertise and passion for British food and hospitality.’
People
People remain the business’s largest asset with significant investment made in Levy Restaurants UK’s Thousand Detail Dining programme and, over £300,000 dedicated to Management Academy, general managers’ training, Levy Restaurants UK online induction and personal development programmes. An Acorn Award from The Caterer, Waitrose Chef Award and Association of Event Organisers Excellence Award reinforce the company’s people-centric approach.
2014 also brought in new appointments within the senior management team including Sales Director Jonathan Davies, who has further helped assert Levy Restaurants UK as market leaders in the sector.
Design for differentiation
Design and creativity have helped to differentiate Levy Restaurants UK with progressive interior design brought in to play at Clydebuilt Bar & Kitchen, reinterpreted public spaces at Olympia London, and the launch of Somerset House’s Pennethorne’s Cafe Bar. Further design developments were concluded at Queen Elizabeth II Centre, The O2 and Twickenham Stadium.
