Faucet Inn, the growing collection of eclectic venues in south east England, launches its new concept, Neighbourhood, on 22 November on Celebration Avenue in East Village, Stratford City.
Located close to the busy Westfield Stratford development and Stratford International train station, Neighbourhood, with its large urban bar area, will offer an exciting range of artisan beers, both bottled and on tap, a hand selected international wine list and innovative cocktails.
All-day dining
The all-day dining menu will utilise fresh, quality produce, with provenance at its heart. The focus of the menu will be heavily on meats cooked on a rotisserie, together with fish and meats on a large Robata Flame grill with an interesting selection of small plates, complementary salads and side dishes. The menu has been thoughtfully created to be enjoyed with friends and shared in groups – making it ideal for grazing and sharing whilst whiling away the hours.
Customers will also be able to take advantage of a take-away menu featuring succulent free-range corn-fed chicken, basted in a secret marinade, fresh from the rotisserie.
Coffee, together with a large range of artisan and craft bottled beers can also be taken away to enjoy at home and will be available following the opening and after the festive season.
Site presents a huge opportunity
Commenting on his company’s latest development, Faucet Inn Founder and Managing Director, Steve Cox said: “Neighbourhood represents a really exciting chapter in our history. The site presents a huge opportunity with the growing local residential developments and close proximity to Westfield. We gained a great deal of insight into the area when we set up Podium in conjunction with Heineken for the Olympics in 2012. It was the largest licensed capacity open air venue and a huge success and highlight for Faucet Inns. We’re really excited to be returning and to have the opportunity to offer employment to the local community.
“What we have achieved with Neighbourhood is an urban cool bar, influenced by the surrounding area that provides a hub for the locals – a place where food, drink and community matters. It will focus on the simple things done well, without fuss. Our service style will be relaxed to suit the atmosphere and our staff approachable but assertive and informed. What we’ve created is a beautiful urban space for people to escape and enjoy.”
