London’s dinein.co.uk acquires MyDeliveryCab

By James Russell: London’s dinein.co.uk acquires MyDeliveryCab

November 17, 2014

Premium restaurant delivery service dinein.co.uk has announced that it has acquired MyDeliveryCab and secured 60+ new London restaurants.

dinein.co.uk, London’s leading premium restaurant delivery service, is delighted to announce the 100% acquisition of MyDeliveryCab Ltd. MDC brings with it a network of over 60 restaurants including Cattle Grid, The Pepper Tree, and The Fish Club across Clapham, Balham, Battersea, Brixton, Tooting, Wandsworth and Streatham. MyDeliveryCab founders Krupa, Yogi and Mitesh Patel will continue to be involved with the business as advisors going forward.

Adds 8 Boroughs

Evan Graj, CEO of dinein.co.uk, commented: “The takeover of MyDeliveryCab enables us to expand our delivery area to 8 new boroughs within SW London, as well as the recently added Kingston Upon Thames.

“Together with our recent partnerships with Busaba Eathai, Comptoir Libanais, Rossopomodoro and MEATliquor we are now happy to delivery for over 250 top quality restaurants in London.

“This also comes at a very exciting time for us, as we are now offering our advanced suite of logistical technology products on license to other companies that face similar complex logistical problems surrounding delivery. The acquisition of MDC will allow us to showcase these solutions — including our Logistics Control Center and a driver app + in-restaurant app product featuring a real time delivery optimisation algorithm — on a larger scale.

“I am so pleased with what we as a team have managed to build over the past couple of years and we’re looking forward to the next stage of growth with the aid of VC investment, plus several upcoming partnerships.”

Access to restaurants which don’t have their own drivers

Dinein.co.uk have been busy establishing delivery partnerships with 250+ of London’s best restaurants over the past 3 years. This cutting edge food-tech startup uses its own drivers to bring you food from restaurants you actually want to eat at. They do what Just-Eat and Hungryhouse can’t, because they give you access to restaurants who don’t already have their own drivers.
