Giles Shaw has been appointed General Manager of the Flitwick Manor Hotel, in Woburn.
Beginning his career in the laundry room has done little to dampen Giles Shaw’s enthusiasm for the hospitality industry, nor slow his progress as he has taken in hotels across London, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Cambridge, Maidenhead, and Milton Keynes. Since attending Ealing Hotel School and obtaining his Higher National Diploma, he has worked across the THF Group and Forte Hotels prior to joining Bespoke in 2014.
Priding himself on encouraging the individual development of members of his team, as well as providing exceptional customer service of course, Giles describes his management style as approachable above all else.
Turning his attentions to Flitwick Manor, Giles aims to utilise both his experience and participative style to establish the hotel as the venue of choice in Bedfordshire: “I am delighted to have been appointed as General Manager at Flitwick Manor and look forward to working with the team,” he said. “I aim to enhance both its local and national reputation as a provider of excellent cuisine and exceptional service.”
