Since H&C News coverage of the opening of this ‘coffee lounge with a difference’ back in October, Barley & Beans has settled in and been receiving the city’s seal of approval as part of its official launch.
More than 50 guests descended on the quirky venue to welcome it and meet director Nick Strauss and his team. As well as raising a toast to the eatery, local businesses from around the area sampled Barely & Beans’ innovative food, which puts a contemporary twist on all-time favourites.

To add to its impact, Barley & Beans has also been ranked as the number one Liverpool restaurant on TripAdvisor, receiving praise for its imaginative food, diverse cocktail menu and personable staff members.
Nick Strauss comments: “We are over the moon to have been crowned number one on TripAdvisor. It really does mean a lot to us that our guests have taken the time to share their dining experiences on such a wide scale.
