There are changes at The Grill at The Dorchester, though more detail is awaited…
First: under the culinary guidance of Alain Ducasse, the luxury hotel has selected a brigade of fresh talent led by his protégé, head chef Christophe Marleix. The new menu will feature a range of grill favourites alongside the restaurant’s signature Lobster Chowder and an extensive sweet soufflé menu – the first of its kind in London.
Second: interior architect Bruno Moinard has been commissioned by The Dorchester to create a vibrant, timeless setting with contrasting natural materials such as zinc and copper set against marble, and butterscotch leather against oak parquet flooring. The restaurant will feature a striking, central hand-blown Murano glass chandelier and pivoting wall panels – the defining feature, creating a separate ambience from day to night.
H&C News looks forward to showing this new setting to readers.
