Decorative coating specialist Armourcoat have appointed a new agent representing the brand in Azerbaijan. In conjunction with Baku-based ‘Trias Decor’, Armourcoat exhibited at BakuBuild in October for the first time, and opened a stunning new showroom in the capital.
BakuBuild is the leading building event in the CIS and Eastern Europe, attracting over 10,000 professionals to the show annually. Azerbaijan is the largest of the three South Caucasus states, bordering with Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Iran and the Caspian Sea. It is one of the fastest growing economies in the world in recent years, thanks to a rapid rise in oil and gas revenues – which gives it amongst the greatest potential for growth of any European country. Azerbaijan weathered the global economic downturn extremely well; growth has slowed recently, but was still estimated to be around 9%. Baku is set to become the next global market opportunity for luxury brands with the recent launch of an exclusive new shopping mall in the city promising to attract discerning consumers from across the Caucasus region.
