Following a soft launch, Sunborn London will officially open to the public on 1 October 2014. The deluxe 4 star yacht hotel is located in the prestigious Royal Victoria Docks and is operated by ISS Facility Services as a Living Wage contract.
Sunborn London maintains the charm of a bygone era and the sophistication of a classic sailing yacht with teak wood panelling, a sweeping glass staircase and vast decked areas, ideal for sundowners looking out across the skyline of the city of London.
The 120 metre length Sunborn London offers 136 spacious yacht bedrooms and suites (each with a minimum of 30 sqm) over 5 decks. The yacht hotel features the ‘Lands End’ restaurant (named after what the area was called in the 1800’s when it was the end of London), the ‘Sundown’ bar, auditorium/cinema club, conference rooms, an Elemis day spa, vast outside decks and private terraces, and the Skylounge with its private decking space for events.
The recent regeneration of East London and the Newham Borough makes this an ideal location for Sunborn London. The hotel will primarily attract corporate clients, with its close proximity to ExCeL, London City Airport and Canary Wharf.
