Prestige Purchasing has made a number of senior appointments and changes within the company as it continues to grow 25% year on year.
Purchasing Operations Director
As part of the continued growth strategyShaun Allen has been appointed as thePurchasing Operations Director, in a new role for the company. Shaun has a wealth of experience, mostly one step upstream in the food supply chain with businesses such as Frutarom and Bakkavor Foods.
Shaun’s manufacturing background will give the team more contact with growers, suppliers and techniques that are used further up the supply chain, thus giving Prestige Purchasing a greater level of knowledge, understanding and industry contacts, which can be passed down to all the company’s clients.
He will be responsible for all the company’s operational services as it looks to further its already in-depth procurement consultancy services, and he will be tasked with ensuring the company works efficiently in delivering excellent results for the clients it works with.
Commercial Director
Alongside the new appointment Prestige Purchasing has also re-structured some of the current team roles within the business to ensure continued best service to its existing clients as well as new business.
Michael Luke, previously Commercial Manager, is now Commercial Director. In addition to ensuring the business continues to grow at the rate currently experienced, Michael’s new role will help to ensure that the client receives impeccable service from the point of introduction until the completion of a project.
