Pulled Pork, Beer and Bourbon and Piri Piri Chicken with Chilli Slaw are just three new food and flavouring combinations to be added to the new menus of the Stonegate Pub Company’s locals pubs this week.
The 69 pubs, which are spread across towns and villages across the UK, are revitalising their menus with on trend food choices incorporating them into new style burgers, sharing dishes and giant grill plates. At the same time, the pubs are pledging ‘All Day Every Day’ to their customers.
Low calorie meals
New dishes are being added to the menu including melt-in-the-mouth pulled pork, served in generous portions on nachos to share, as a loaded baguette and as a burger. Also taking centre stage are two grill dishes, the flavoursome Beer and Bourbon Double Chicken and Ribs, and Spicy Latino Chicken. On the pub’s popular low calorie meal section which features dishes under 500 calories, the Broccoli and Brie Pasta Shells (pictured above) have impressed customers during trials who couldn’t believe their luck that such a filling and tasty dish could be healthy too.
In readiness for the cooler months ahead, three perfect winter desserts are being added – Black Forest and Brownie Cheesecake; Red Cherry Waffle; and Sticky Toffee Sunday, all available at two for the price of one.
All day every day pledges
Commenting on the changes, Locals marketing manager, Claire Tanner-Stacey said, “At the same times as introducing these new dishes, which add something new and unique to the menu, we are pledging fantastic all day every day promises to our customers.
“These promises are that we will offer a selection of some of our customers’ favourite dishes as two meals for a great value fixed price. For our sites that offer sport, we will deliver the best viewing in the town through our Sky and BT Sport packages; we will serve draught beer, perfectly; we will offer great quality house wine, and finally, we will price our bottled beer at two for a fixed amount, giving guaranteed savings.”
