Born and raised in Croatia, it’s fair to say Mario Osvenjak has seen plenty of the world, especially when you consider he began his career in hospitality on a Caribbean Cruise Line.
Following his return to dry land, Mario first ventured to London in roles of Cluster F&B Manager for Thistle Hotels across their Royal Trafalgar and Piccadilly properties, before continuing up the ladder via stints at IHG, The Corus Hotel, Hyde Park, as well as The Colonnade and Hotel Xenia in the heart of stylish Kensington.
Having overseen the successful opening of The Xenia, Mario joined Bespoke Hotels in an interim capacity, working across properties in Oxfordshire and Dorset before permanently joining the company in July 2014 as General Manager of the Menzies Prince Regent Hotel in Chigwell. Now he turns his attention to taking the Essex site’s profile to the next level, with a particular eye on establishing the Prince Regent as the premiere weddings, meetings and events destination in the local area.
