The Hospitality Show to celebrate the Very Best of British Hospitality

By James Russell: The Hospitality Show to celebrate the Very Best of British Hospitality

October 27, 2014

Registration is now live for The Hospitality Show 2015 as the UK’s largest tradeshow in its calendar year returns to the second city to celebrate the very best of British hospitality.

New products, new exhibitors, new ideas and a new business focus will all be ushered in on a wave of New Year optimism as the Birmingham NEC opens its doors from 19-21 January, for three days of insight and inspiration.

The best of British

Toby Wand, Managing Director at Fresh Montgomery comments: “We’re tremendously excited to welcome people from all corners of the UK to our doors, to yet again to help kick start the business year into life. In 2015 our core focus is around the best of British – a launch pad for everything new and great in British hospitality. I urge anyone looking for that spark of inspiration to take time out, and experience the most relevant, business-focused trade show in the hospitality calendar.”

The Hospitality Show is the place where the UK comes to network and do serious business, consistently attracting high quality exhibitors and special guests sourced from across the hospitality spectrum. Focus areas include: hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafés, delis, careers and the cost sector, with the show providing a glittering showcase for cutting edge products and services from the core fields of food & drink, technology, catering equipment, interiors and tableware.

Business Briefing Stage

Key attractions such as the Business Briefing Stage – the beating heart of the hospitality show floor – will welcome laser guided insight, debate and discussion on the most relevant topics and trends making the headlines, while show stalwart and one of the world’s most prestigious culinary competitions, Salon Culinaire, returns in style with a number of format changes guided from chef research. Salon Culinaire includes Live Theatre classes and Salon Display – both sponsored by Compass UK & Ireland – which showcases hand-crafted works in fat, chocolate, marzipan and other foodstuffs. Fine dining experience, La Parade des Chefs will this year be sponsored by Coup de Pates/Delice de France.

Laverstoke Park Farm Taste Experience

With British food and drink currently very much in the spotlight, we are pleased to announce that the Laverstoke Park Farm Taste Experience is set to debut at the Hospitality Show. The brainchild of former F1 world champion-turned-farmer Jody Scheckter, the Hampshire-based organic and biodynamic farm is set to relocate to the Hospitality Show floor for three days. Visitors will be able to witness for themselves the unique, delicious produce that is crafted on the farm.

Available to sample will be their renowned mozzarella made from fresh Buffalo milk, Buffalo fillet steaks, award-winning lamb, tasty black pudding and their new Buffalo Gouda.

Jody comments: “With British food and drink’s growing reputation, we’re delighted to bring the Laverstoke Park Farm Taste Experience to the Hospitality Show. There are some great exhibitors at the show and we are proud to be part of that.”

Business Mentor scheme

The highly popular Business Mentor scheme also returns for a third successive show. The programme will see some of the most respected names in the hospitality industry on hand to pass on targeted business advice, offering visitors FREE bookable one-to-one mentoring sessions following engaging panel discussions.

Innovative and energy-saving catering equipment

The Hospitality Show will also be 2015’s largest showcase for the latest innovative and energy-saving catering equipment suppliers. Organised in conjunction with CESA (The Catering Equipment Suppliers Association) the CESA Innovation Zone will be the only place operators need to go to experience a single snapshot of the most relevant and up-to-date products the industry has to offer.

Latest technology trends

Other returning attractions include the HOSPACE Hub which will offer visitors an informative seminar programme encompassing the very latest technology trends.
