Hat trick of successes for Searcys

By James Russell: Hat trick of successes for Searcys

October 3, 2014

Searcys has been appointed to provide the catering at Kenwood House (above) and The National Army Museum, as well as securing a new contract for The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.

The two new venues are feathers in the cap for Searcys, which has built a five star reputation on providing fresh and innovative catering concepts for some of the UK’s most iconic venues including Blenheim Palace, The Gherkin, Vintner’s Hall, Carlton House Terrace and 30 Euston Square.

First since joining Westbury Street Holdings

The Kenwood House and The National Army Museum contracts are the first new business wins for Searcys since becoming part of the Westbury Street Holdings (WSH) family of brands this July.

Kenwood House

Searcys will commence operations at Kenwood House from the 1st October 2014 and will undertake a significant investment program especially in the Brew House Café.

Chris Maddison, Searcys Managing Director, explains: “We’re very proud to add Kenwood House to our repertoire of some of the finest establishments in England and we’re really looking forward to working with English Heritage to further build on the popularity and reputation of this superb visitor attraction over the next five years.

“The Brew House Café will celebrate the very best of English produce and dishes; we’ve created a range of seasonal menus which offer fantastic value for money and recognise the importance Kenwood House plays in the culture of the local community.”

National Army Museum

The National Army Museum will re-open following a significant £23.25m re-development project in 2016, supported by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant. Located in Chelsea on Royal Hospital Road, the project will see the radical transformation of the Museum’s Chelsea site as well as an extensive programme of community projects, together with Regimental Museum collaborations, travelling exhibitions, loans and expert support.

Honourable Society of the Inner Temple

Finally, Searcys has been awarded a new five year contract by The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple to continue to provide catering, event management and sale services at the iconic London location.

Chris Maddison added, “We’re very proud of our long term partnership at Inner Temple. The new contract is very much a testament to the quality of operations our on-site team provides, which is commensurate to the overall culture of the Inner Temple. We’re extremely pleased to be able to continue our partnership as the Inner Temple enters a significant year in 2015 with the 800 year anniversary of the creation of the Magna Carta.”
