The Amarah décor range from Villeroy & Boch is set to be one of the most exciting tableware launches for the hospitality industry this year. Inspired by the four elements, the new design has been created with current food trends and sophisticated gastronomy in mind.
Amarah adds sensuous colours and distinctive artisan simplicity to modern catering. It features a natural colour scheme with a brushstroke look and earthy structures that are reminiscent of the desert sun, teamed with elegant designs that create an enchanting contrast to the artisan style of the décor.
Crafted to provide the perfect stage for culinary creations, the new collection is ideal for every establishment style, from a business hotel, to a canteen and the hippest new bar. The strong, vibrant colours of Amarah incorporate one additional key characteristic: simplicity. The design concept features optimally positioned white areas for the perfect presentation of dishes. The taupe, red sun, aquamarine and terra colour palette provides a natural-looking porcelain backdrop, which intensifies the drama of creative cuisine.
Finger foods, appetisers and desserts are impressively presented on the rectangular Amarah porcelain plates and platters, which boast an understated craquelure glaze pattern, set off by vibrant aquamarine, making a real statement of any dish.
The collection comprises of Villeroy & Boch’s most popular tableware pieces, including plates from the Marchesi range, which are available in a choice of flat and deep designs, all decorated in Red Sun or Taupe Amarah décor. Flat coupe plates from the Dune series are available in a range of sizes and colour ways: Aquamarine, Red Sun and Taupe.
The Amarah décor has also been applied to various pieces from the successful NewWave collection in the colours Terra, Aquamarine and Red Sun. The line is completed by a choice of three cups and saucers from the Caffè Club collection, which has been specifically designed for coffee specialities. The formal minimalistic cups and round saucers are available in the shades Terra and Taupe.
The Amarah décor is available from 1 July 2014.
