Stand H101 will be the launch pad for three flavoursome new additions to the Essential Cuisine team – as The Stock People officially unveil Duck, Pork and Wild Mushroom varieties of its highly versatile range of Glaces.
The entire ten-strong range has also received a packaging makeover and will be on show alongside the company’s full complement of premium quality stocks, jus, gravy, and demi-glace, including the chef’s favourite, Premier Veal Jus.
Managing Director, Nigel Crane, said: “We are constantly in conversation with chefs and felt that the new flavours could really help them add something different to menus – depth, versatility and, most importantly; serious flavour impact. The full Essential Cuisine range is now stronger than ever; we can’t wait to get started – and where better than at a show that’s so intrinsically linked to chefs and their brigades.”
The new Glace packaging overhaul means each 600g pot now bears the legend ‘Let’s Make the Ordinary Extraordinary’, with colour coded labels featuring bespoke usage icons, descriptors and QR codes for chefs to quickly and easily link back to banks of relevant, inspirational recipes.
Nigel adds: “Chefs can be reassured that it’s still the same great product, just an updated design. The additional touches will help time poor chefs quickly identify the right product for them, while the recipe links should help inspire them on to even greater heights.”
The entire Glace range is also completely gluten-free, and boasts existing flavours Beef, Chicken, Veal, Lamb, Lobster, Game, and Vegetable Mirepoix.
New flavours, new profiles:
- Duck: Robust and meaty with a delicious roasted fatty taste.
- Pork: Rounded and juicy with a bottom-of-the-roasting-tin intensity.
- Wild Mushroom: Rich and earthy with a Porcini character.
