Brett Graham’s Notting Hill restaurant The Ledbury has topped the AllinLondon list of London’s top 100 restaurants for the third year running. The Ledbury beat off competition from sister restaurant The Square which rises to second position, while former winner Marcus drops down to third place.
London’s Ultimate Restaurant List
Last year BBQ joint Pitt Cue Co entered at 10 (down to number 18 this year), this year Hakkasan group’s HKK is on the list at number 23, thanks to its 15 course tasting menu of modern Cantonese dishes. Restaurant Story, ex-Noma Tom Sellers’ first restaurant is also at 23; Kitchen Table, the 19-cover room at the back of champagne and hotdogs eatery Bubbledogs has entered at 61.
High new entries
Highest is The Clove Club at number 17, the restaurant co-owned by Isaac McHale, formerly of the Young Turks collective and located at Shoreditch Town Hall.
Nathan Outlaw’s seafood restaurant Outlaw’s at the Capital is in at 29, and Jason Atherton’s Social Eating House at 36.
Fish restaurant Wiltons, Moroccan haunt Momo, and couples’ favourite Bleeding Heart have all also entered the list. And High climbers include Angela Hartnett’s Murano, The Delaunay, and Launceston Place has risen 30 positions to number 37.
