Leisure property specialists Fleurets have just concluded the sale of freehold Grade II-listed Greenwood Hotel in Northolt, Middlesex, to J.D. Wetherspoon from a guide price of £2m.
Will Thomas of Fleurets comments: “Our marketing generated a great deal of interest, which was largely from developers and C store operators, which is often the case these days, so it is reassuring that the property will remain a public house. I look forward to seeing what J.D. Wetherspoon’s will do with the property now, as they are creating some exciting new pubs and hotels which are very different to the historic model they have been so well known for.”
The property, which had been partly refurbished but has not traded for a number of years, boasts a footprint of circa 800 sq mt (8,600 sq ft), 11 en-suite letting rooms, large bar area and double height ballroom. To the rear is a car park, while the front constitutes an additional trading area.
