Geronimo Inns encourages customers to re-charge at Heathrow

By James Russell: Geronimo Inns encourages customers to re-charge at Heathrow

July 15, 2014

With increased security measures being implemented this week and passenger’s being barred from their flights if their electronic devices are not charged up, Geronimo Inns, which currently operates three pubs at London’s Heathrow airport is encouraging customers to take the time to re-charge themselves – as well as their phones – before they jet off.

Complimentary chargers

Geronimo Inns will be providing complimentary chargers for all key phones and tablets at The Five Tuns (Landside, Terminal 5 – pictured above) and The Three Bells (Landside, Terminal 3) which customers are welcome to use when they drink or dine at the pubs. Equally, paying customers are welcome to use their own chargers at no extra cost.

Ed Turner, Geronimo Inns MD:

“Airports are hectic and sometimes quite busy places, our philosophy at Geronimo Inns is to create a home away from home be it around the corner from where you live, at Westfield or at Heathrow. Today increased security is a fact of life, so we say make the most of that time; charge up your phone and re-charge your own batteries with great food, brilliant beers and seriously good wine!”

Hossey Saghri Operations Manager for the three Heathrow sites says:

“Our Heathrow pubs are a haven for the traveller, we’ve great big Chesterfield sofas to kick back in, there is sport on the TV, or lose yourself in a good book whilst enjoying a drink or simply watch the world go by – whatever it is we want you to take time out for yourself!”

All three airport pubs (The Tin Goose, Airside Terminal 1 makes up the triumvirate) offer an ever changing menu of British classics from traditional ploughmans to hearty salads and because airports are places beyond the realms of space and time – or at least they feel like that sometimes – a classic all day breakfast served from 6am (except the Tin Goose which opens at 5am).
