This June, a vibrant new food bar will be launched in Manchester by young entrepreneur, Jamie Barr, to fulfil the demand for quick healthy food on the go. Wahu will offer ‘design your own’ meals that are fresh, satisfying and full of flavour, with the option for customers to dine in or take out.
The 98 seated capacity eatery, located on The Avenue, Spinningfields, will generate jobs for the local community, including serving and kitchen staff.
Following a £300K investment, the 1,300 square foot site will take the place of Eat on The Avenue. Located in the heart of the Manchester business district, the food bar will help to further cement The Avenue as a food and drink destination for those who live and work in the city.
Open from 7am-11pm and fully licensed, Wahu will cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the menu is structured in a way which allows customers to choose each aspect of their meal. From the base to the toppings, Wahu’s menu is full of quality UK ingredients, designed to get customers through their busy day.
Fresh, tasty and nourishing food
Jamie Barr said: “The Wahu brand will be the first of its kind in Manchester, with our ‘design your own’ concept allowing customers to create their perfect meal.
“We’re focused on providing fresh, tasty and nourishing food; whether it’s a quick breakfast on the go, a swift lunch, or dinner and drinks with friends, Wahu will give customers a truly unique experience, with a vibrant atmosphere unlike any other eatery in the area.”
