Sky Sports will launch its biggest ever season of live football with live coverage of four Sky Bet Football League matches over one weekend starting on Friday 8 August: the new season on Sky Sports starts with the opening fixture from the Sky Bet Football League, Blackburn Rovers v Cardiff City, and continues with three further matches on consecutive days including newly promoted Wolves against Norwich City on Sunday 10 August.
More football than ever before
This season Sky Sports will show more football than ever before including 116 games from the Barclays Premier League, Football League and Scottish Premier League.
Launched this month, Sky Sports 5 will be the home of European football and show up to 600 live matches including qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2016, UEFA Champions League, La Liga including the Copa del Rey, the Coppa Italia and also live coverage of Holland’s top division the Eredivisie.

The fixtures announced will be the first of up to 90 live Football League games to be shown on Sky Sports HD this season, including the Play-offs and all three Play-off finals from Wembley in May 2015.
