Seasoned, the award winning event caterers, hosted 700 guests at the Natural History Museum as part of the China-Britain Business Council trade talks between the UK and China on Tuesday 17th June. The event followed the $30 billion investment commitment in the UK.
The event was organised by the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), and was attended by Li Keqiang the Chinese Premier, Gao Hucheng the Chinese Commerce Minister, and George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer, and formed the closing of an official three day visit which involved royalty, politicians and business leaders.
The CBBC is a leading organisation helping UK companies grow and develop their business with China. Having worked with China for over 60 years developing relationships and helping companies establish operations, the team has extensive experience of conducting business in the region.

Seasoned has worked with CBBC on previous occasions over the last two years at events across the Capital and this marks the second official CBBC trade diner in as many years.
The evening started with a VIP reception in the Dinosaur Gallery, followed by a main reception in the Waterhouse building. Guest were then treated to a starter of smoked Scottish salmon with keta pearls, lime dressing and parsley cress. This was followed by the main meal of pan-seared guinea fowl breast and green peppercorn confit leg croquette with oyster mushrooms, lemon dressed courgette and yellow pepper timbale. To finish, a selection of British classics, including strawberry Eaton mess nest and elderflower Prosecco jelly with suspended raspberries.
