Seasoned, the award-winning London event and wedding caterer, has been working closely with the City of London Corporation to secure a wedding licence for the high level Walkways at Tower Bridge, London.
Historically, couples tying the knot at the world’s most famous bridge would hold their wedding ceremony in the North Tower Lounge, however, the registrars at Tower Hamlets have recently confirmed that ceremonies can now be conducted within the north side of both the east and west walkways.
The globally recognised Walkways, soar 42 meters above the Thames and offer breath-taking views of the Docklands, Canary Wharf and Greenwich to the East; and the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the City to the West.
The Walkways can accommodate up to 70 guests for the actual ceremony and double the number once the chairs are cleared for the celebratory reception or seated dinner to toast the happy couple.
Colin Sayers, Managing Director of Seasoned said “Since we first started managing the Walkways in 2009, we have always pushed the boundaries of what can be achieved at the venue and following a series of consultations with the Corporation of London and Tower Hamlets Registrar’s Office, we now have the opportunity to offer couples a breath-taking setting to exchange their vows.”
