Leading hoteliers, product manufacturers and hospitality specialists worked alongside other industry leaders to produce a one-off news programme, pioneered by ITN Productions and the British Hospitality Association, which made its debut at the Hospitality & Tourism Summit.
The programme showcases the success of the sector in creating new jobs and the value contributed to the economy. It also provides an educational agenda, focusing on the challenges ahead and the issues which hinder growth.
The Hospitality News programme was made in collaboration with a dozen leading hospitality and tourism companies, and also includes interviews with leading politicians and industry commentators. The Programme partners have worked alongside the ITN crew to film the programme:

Showcasing the contribution made to the UK economy
Ufi Ibrahim, CEO of the British Hospitality Association said: “The hospitality and tourism industry is on the cusp of achieving the recognition it deserves from both Government and other industries, and this news programme has helped us to define and showcase the important contribution our industry makes to the UK economy.” The programme is presented by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky from the news studios at ITN in Central London.
