Harris+Hoole, the speciality coffee shop venture, has appointed a new Finance Director, Richard Harpham, to define and model the company’s strategic direction.
Richard previously worked at Pret A Manger as Head of Strategy where he was responsible for the food chain’s expansion plans.
The appointment follows Harris+Hoole’s announcement that it is looking to fill up to 500 new roles, from baristas to shop managers, as it expands across London and the South East.

Harris + Hoole is the speciality coffee shop venture founded in 2012 by siblings Nick, Andrew and Laura Tolley. Using the latest barista methods and cutting edge technologies, Harris+Hoole brings premium coffee products to the high street. The Tolleys established Harris+Hoole after the success of their artisan coffee shop business, Taylor Street Baristas. H+H represents the Tolleys’ attempt to bring the same approach to speciality coffee to the high street. Tesco is helping the Tolleys to realise this ambition, providing finance in the form of a non-controlling stake.
