Leading commercial and industrial cleaning chemicals manufacturer Greyland has been commended for their supply service at the first ever Caterbar Supplier Awards.
Held at the Vermont Hotel, Newcastle Upon Tyne on 12th June, the award, from one of the leading nationwide catering and bar equipment distributors, recognises the great strides that Greyland takes in supplying all 11 individual member companies that make up the group.
While 2008 is generally acknowledged to be the year of the Great Recession, it was also when Greyland began supplying Caterbar. Despite difficult times and a tough market, volumes grew year on year, with group sales now expected to reach £500,000 in 2014.
Greyland MD Richard Dyson explains that one of the reasons for the continued growth is that they offer each of the individual members their own brand chemicals alongside the well-known Caterbar brand. All orders are not only supplied at best value, but also delivered nationally, including Northern Ireland, within 5 working days.
According to Caterbar Executive officer Brian Moore, “Greyland have consistently shown commitment in their supply to the group, with a comprehensive range of everyday cleaning chemicals at competitive prices, excellent service and a willingness to develop products to individual members requirements.”
As well as supplying trade distributors Greyland also supply direct if required to large users and group customers.
