Eden Caterers and Cucina Catering have joined forces after recognising the many complementary aspects of their products, services and operations.
A shared ethos of high-quality food delivered reliably and sustainably has also been key to the merger.
Customers of both businesses have been informed and are excited by the benefits they will experience as a result of the companies joining forces.
Eden managing director Hugh Walker said: “Cucina has a fantastic synergy with us and a very complementary product range. It’s a natural fit; from a business perspective it makes perfect sense; and for our customers it will mean a wider choice of dishes and services.”
Stefano Ispani, managing director of Cucina Catering, said: “I prefer to think of this more as a marriage than a merger. I’ve known Hugh and Nick (Mead) for many years – and despite previously being competitors we’ve always been good friends. We look forward to thrilling Cucina and Eden customers with some exciting new dishes over the coming months.”
Cucina Catering products and services will fall under the Eden brand as part of the merger. The Eden headquarters in Waterloo has also been enlarged to cope with the increased demand.
