Gone are the days of scouring cumbersome online review sites from your mobile as CityHawk, a brand new generation of restaurant booking, is set to become the new best friend of London food lovers, finally giving them the power to be spontaneous and discover and book the best restaurants with just three taps of a smartphone.
Launching in London, the CityHawk app presents a shortlist of hand-picked nearby restaurants from well known favourites to hidden gems that might be hidden just around the corner, all with real-time availability.
Tailored to each user
Individually tailored to each user, CityHawk is ‘intelligent’, learning from previous bookings, personal tastes, and location data to refine and present the most suitable restaurants.
The startup is the brainchild of Aaron Ross who has already secured substantial investment from the founder of toptable and the former CEO of OpenTable Europe, as well as making a number of significant hires from some of the established restaurant booking players.
‘In the same way that taxi services and hotel bookings have been revolutionised by mobile-first solutions, it’s high time that the same improvements are made for restaurant discovery and reservation, most of which were built primarily for web and are now pretty cumbersome.”
Discover and book nearby restaurants
“What we’ve built takes all the pain away for diners, and with just a few taps of a smartphone they can discover and instantly book the best restaurants nearby with the confidence that they’ll have a great meal and benefit from some outstanding offers.”
“CityHawk has quickly become the go to tool for our beta testers whenever they’re looking for somewhere to eat, and we’re really excited about opening the app up to everyone,” says Ross.
Totally free for diners and with over 600 handpicked restaurants ready to book in just three easy taps, CityHawk aims to become Londoners’ new best friend.
