The Landmark London has appointed Sarah Baptiste as Sales and Marketing Director for the five star luxury hotel.
Sarah has been a member of the Landmark London team since 2001 when she joined as Assistant Director of Sales, overseeing the corporate market, and has worked as Director of Sales until this most recent appointment.
Sarah’s career history in the hospitality industry began at The Langham hotel in 1994. Prior to her time at The Landmark London, Sarah worked for The Savoy Group with two years in London and one year in the New York Sales Office.
Sarah’s new position as Director of Sales and Marketing at The Landmark London will see her heading up a 23-strong team, with responsibility for developing and moving the sales strategy forward to maximise both revenue and occupancy levels, as well as growing the presence of The Landmark London as one of the capital’s iconic hotels.
Of her time at The Landmark London and her new role, Sarah said: ‘I am thrilled to continue and develop my work with such a talented and dedicated team in our mission to deliver memorable moments for all visitors to and guests of the hotel. The Landmark London is a beautiful hotel, steeped in history and has the added bonus of some of the largest bedrooms in London. I am excited about where we can take the hotel in the next few years.’
The five-star Landmark London, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is a luxurious haven in the heart of Marylebone, it was the last of the great railway hotels and is housed in a stunning 19th century building that is home to a variety of room types, the most flexible suite configuration in the capital and several of central London’s truly memorable restaurants and bars.
