In celebration of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Wedding Dresses 1775 – 2014 exhibition, The Park Lane Hotel, London has created a very special Wedding Dresses Afternoon Tea. Available from 3rd May to 30th June 2014, the Wedding Dresses Afternoon Tea will take guests on a culinary journey down the aisle celebrating centuries of wedding fashion.
As one of London’s most prestigious wedding venues, with its stunning original Art Deco Ballroom hosting weddings for over 400 people, The Park Lane Hotel is a fitting venue for the Wedding Dresses Afternoon Tea. To mark the opening of the highly anticipated exhibition, The Park Lane Hotel’s award-winning Pastry Chef, Sarah Hartnett, has created an exceptional afternoon tea menu which will be served in the exquisite setting of The Palm Court, the hotel’s famed Art Deco lounge.
The Wedding Dresses Afternoon Tea at The Park Lane Hotel will be served from 3rd May to 30th June 2014 (3pm-6pm on weekdays and 2pm-6pm at weekends) in The Palm Court.

Tribute to Henri Matisse’s Cut-Outs
In celebration of the Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs exhibition arriving at London’s Tate Modern, the Terrace Grill & Bar at Le Méridien Piccadilly has created a special afternoon tea inspired by Matisse’s work and heritage. The tea is available until the 31st May and the first 40 customers to book the afternoon tea in advance will receive a free ticket to the Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs exhibition, courtesy of Le Méridien Piccadilly.
For the restaurant’s creative customers, the Matisse Cut-Outs Afternoon Tea is served with a craft box allowing guests to produce their own Cut-Outs masterpiece in the style of Matisse’s late work. Guests will create their art work on a blank postcard which Le Méridien Piccadilly will happily post to the guest’s destination of choice once complete. Any one bringing the postcard back with them on another visit to the Terrace Grill & Bar will receive 20% off all food and drink.
