At Glorious Goodwood this year, the racecourse has teamed up with The Hummingbird Bakery, the American Style bakery that is bringing the authentic taste of American home baking to Goodwood, and for the first time has created the ultimate Glorious Goodwood Cupcake with its distinguished yellow frosting.
Served alongside a full afternoon tea including a selection of hand cut sandwiches, fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, macaroons, homemade marshmallows hospitality guests in the Charlton Panoramic Club and the Secret Garden will be able to indulge in the ultimate Afternoon Tea.
The Hummingbird Bakery was founded by Tarek Malouf who developed The Hummingbird Bakery concept in response to what he saw as a lack of any places in London to enjoy the taste of truly authentic American-style baking. Today the bakery has become a highly celebrated and iconic brand.
Adam Waterworth, Managing Director of Goodwood Racecourse, says “This is the first time that The Hummingbird Bakery has teamed up with a British racecourse and we are delighted to have worked with them and created own personalised cupcake. Our hospitality offerings this year give our customers the finest in fresh produce and we look forward to the return of the Secret Garden and the new Charlton Panoramic Club.”
