Mike Sunley, Chief Executive at Lexington said: “We are so proud that the Lexington team continues to deliver year on year. The excellent financial results for 2013 are a reflection of another fantastic year with some amazing industry awards, contract extensions and exciting new clients joining us.

“We are constantly evolving as a business and have recently launched Lexington Reception Services (LRS) in response to client needs, which is a fabulous addition to our offering. We’ve had an amazing ten years and look forward to continued growth over the years to come.”

Growth in turnover and people

Lexington has grown year on year both in terms of turnover and people. Today, it is one of London and the South East’s top catering and front of house specialists, with over 650 staff. The business came number 7 in The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to Work For List and was recently awarded the Investors in People (IIP) Gold Standard in 2013.

Lexington was set up in 2002 by co-founders Mike Sunley, Katharine Lewis and Rachel Lindner. In 2014 the organisation launched Lexington Reception Services (LRS) which includes; reception and concierge, call services, guest management and meetings and events coordination to create the very best front of house experiences for their clients and customers.

Creating great customer experiences

Mike adds, “Whilst we are expanding and developing as a business we remain committed to retaining our initial vision to be a boutique hands-on provider.

“We rely on our fabulous team to create great customer experiences and make us stand out from our competitors. It’s been vital that we stay loyal to our core values and beliefs which remain at the heart of our business as we grow.”
