Ibérica to open more restaurants following £2 million funding

Ibérica Food & Culture, the company that brings  only  the  very  best  in Spanish gastronomy, wine and culture to the UK through their restaurants, is opening an additional 2 restaurants having agreed a £2 million funding package with Santander Corporate & Commercial. The first of the 2 new sites opened in Farringdon, North London in April 2014, with a second site outside of London to be announced later in 2014.

7 more sites planned

Farringdon is the 4th site opening for Ibérica, following Great Portland St, Canary Wharf and Canary Wharf La Terraza, all overseen by Managing Director  of   Ibérica   Restaurants Marcos Fernández. Ibérica is looking to open a further 7 sites over the next 3 years, as part of ambitious expansion plans.

No Ibérica is the same, each restaurant has been carefully designed and created to showcase a different and genuine  Spanish experience. Guests will consistently experience the  passion  and expertise of Ibérica’s Executive Head Chef Nacho Manzano, who has an impressive 3 Michelin stars to his name, 2 from his celebrated restaurant Casa Marcial in Asturias, Spain.

Great, authentic Spanish food at a reasonable price

Marcos Fernandez Pardo, Managing Director of Ibérica Restaurants, said: “Ibérica has had phenomenal success since it was first launched six years ago. Our mantra has been to serve great, authentic Spanish food at a reasonable price, all from an ever-revolving menu created by Nacho Manzano. We are very excited about the next phase of our growth as we aim to reach 10 unique and authentically Spanish restaurants by the end of 2016.”
