Current Government figures show that electric cars will increase to 1.2 million by 2020, but will visitors and guests be able to charge their cars?
Lancaster London now offers two electric car charging points as part of the hotel’s commitment to good environmental practices. Parking and charging is free for guests with electric cars staying at the hotel overnight.
The points make charging electric vehicles more accessible and attractive, with long term benefits to the environment and lower running costs for the motorists who switch over. The points were donated by the acclaimed green charity Zero Carbon World, and use electricity provided by the hotel.
Hotel residents are able to charge their cars at no cost, however spaces must be booked to guarantee the charging access.
