Chef Jobs UK are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to work at an Award Winning Restaurant, Delicatessen & Offsite Caterer establishment in an affluent village located in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Named in the top 10 Best Secret Restaurants in the UK and featured in the Michelin Guide for 4 years running, this is an exciting opportunity for the right individual.
This role requires a chef with a good understanding and previous experience of running a kitchen including stock ordering, maintaining GP’s and taking control of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
The ideal candidate will have an input into the menus and specials board and be part of an established, passionate and talented brigade of three. Heart and soul goes into every dish where all ingredients used are locally and organically grown.
Homemade cakes and patessieries including afternoon tea are also a key feature of the deli so experience in pastry is a must.
You must have worked in a fine dining kitchen for a minimum of 2 years. A strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous would be considered for the role depending on experience.
The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday and food is served from 10am-6pm. You will work 45 hours a week and will be required to work evenings when attending offsite events.
Hours of work will be between 6.30am-6.30pm.
